Jess and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary this year (February 8). We want to buy new rings and renew our vows next year. I'm hoping we can pull it off.
My daughter Michaela (who turns 14 this year) finished 7th grade with a whole year of great grades and honor roll accolades. She's looking forward to starting 8th grade in a couple of weeks. We're still working through our anger issues but I think our relationship is pretty good and we certainly love each other very much.
Jess and I celebrated our 7th anniversary of being nicotine free on July 1, 2013. I can't believe I missed the date but that just speaks to how insignificant smoking has become to me anymore and I would have to argue this is a good thing.
Also, for those keeping track, I'm down to a [not so] lean 300 lbs. I'm not making progress as quickly as I'd like and I'm a bit stalled at the moment but I'm ready to kick it into high gear once again so I hope I can report even more significant weight loss in the near future.
And, lastly (but certainly not least), I celebrated my first anniversary at American Health Data Institute (Key Benefit Administrators) on June 11, 2013. I don't know how a post about getting this job didn't make it onto the blog but let me just say that my career is going very well and I absolutely LOVE my work life now which is something I certainly couldn't have said a year and a half ago (more things that didn't make it to the blog....).
Well, look at that... A personal post that is NOTHING but good news!! :-)
Blessed be.
